The victim told officers that two men used a firearm to steal his belongings and vehicle. Officers performed an extensive search of the area and did not locate the suspects or the stolen vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
Assault: 11:29 p.m. June 11 in the 2900 block of NE 10th Street, officers responded to an assault. The victim told officers he and his girlfriend got into an argument, then she assaulted him. A criminal citation for fourth-degree misdemeanor assault was sent to the prosecutor’s office. The suspect was not located.
Car prowler caught: 7:27 p.m. June 12 in the 300 block of Renton Center Way SW, an officer patrolling the parking lot heard a car alarm sounding. The officer approached the car and contacted the suspect under suspicion of car prowling. The suspect had multiple warrants. She was brought to jail to be booked. Jail staff located narcotics in her possession, and a possession charge was added.
Indecent exposure: 10:04 a.m. June 13 in the 4500 block of NE 4th Street, an officer received a report by phone for an indecent exposure incident. The victim stated that the day before, a male exposed his genitals to her. The case is pending as the officer gathers additional evidence.
